Bill Bury


Bill Bury has worked on several of the National Football League’s recent new stadiums and major renovations, most notably, Reliant Stadium, the league’s first retractable roof and successful portable playing field, and also Cowboys Stadium, the first rack-and-pinion retractable roof, and the world’s largest: operable wall, true HD video display, single-span truss and dome. The Cowboys Stadium project continued a proven streak of facilities he has made a major contribution to, opening on schedule and below the budgeted cost. Establishing an accurate budget at conception and managing the project and the budget through completion is something he takes particular pride in. Controls of safety, quality, processes, scheduling and design changes are some critical areas he excels at in his management of the project.

His knowledge base of the business of sports facilities and the needs of the customer is un-matched in the industry with services including, but-not-limited-to: Construction, Pre-Construction Estimating Services and Case Studies. He has been involved with 27 of the National Football League’s stadiums. [Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins, Giants, Jets, Dolphins, Patriots, Steelers, Browns, Bengals, Packers, Bears, Lions, Vikings, Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Titans, Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers, Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals and New L.A. Team Sites]. He started Major League Baseball’s New York Mets’ Citi Field and the Washington Nationals (Pastime) Park recently. Other noteworthy projects he helped establish are both the Lighthouse on Long Island and the Madison Square Garden Renovation. Most recently he has been focusing on collegiate football stadiums as well as soccer facilities internationally and domestically including the Houston Dynamo Soccer Stadium.

Mr. Bury’s 20+ year portfolio amounts to over 5 Billion Dollars of Projects including Mixed-Use Developments, Stadiums, Ballparks, Arenas, Racetracks, Convention Centers, Hotels, Condominiums, Resorts, Maximum Security Prisons, Hospitals, K-12 Schools and Universities, Aviation Facilities, Training Facilities and Retail.

He has Global experience in Brazil, England, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Poland and Switzerland where he has learned, shared his knowledge, and developed key relationships in the international stadia industry. In his procurement of many projects he has called upon manufacturers and suppliers from several Continents. No project is above or beneath him or too far away.

Mr. Bury has worked on the construction of professional sports facilities since 2000 and is certified by the USGBC as a LEED® AP as well as by the ASPE as a CPE. He earned his Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology with an Architectural Emphasis from Hudson Valley Community College and his Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology with a Minor in Business from Montana State University. He has also taken advanced courses through Syracuse University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and The United States Navy.
